1000 Point Eldar/Tau List

Here will be listed my 1000 point Eldar - Tau army.

For 6th edition, my goal is to run an infantry army with the focus of manipulating range and maintaining ranged superiority.

To achieve those two goals (manipulating and maintaining) I have devised a list that allows me flexibility as well as a range gradient.

Let the Worlds Drown! Beginnings of an Eldar Army

Long time since I've posted. School has really picked up, and mid-terms just around the corner (less than two weeks, yikes!).
I've decided on creating a 1500 point Eldar army, to carry my infantry-insanity across a new spectrum of the 40k universe. As I've got Space Marine infantry, Imperial Guard infantry, and Tau infantry armies built (but not completed) I've wanted something new, something fresh. So, I went to one of the oldest books (the irony is blatant, isn't it?).

Royal Oaks Gaming Club has been hosting a local escalation league in which I have recently been included. The next point installment is 1,250 points, which I will be using with my Imperial Guard|Tau army. It goes as follows

Battle Report: IG vs Orks, Analysis

Hey all!! Had two games today, one against a 1500 Ork mob force, which is the focus of today's article. Learned a few things today, which I'll be addressing. Here is my 1500 list. It was fun, and a very productive day!!

Hobby Progress: Tau Gun Drone

Hey all, here is my first painted Tau Gun Drone. I spent a long (unnecessarily so) time on him. I feel really good about it. The fading of the green-camo armor plating on top and the lucid vibrance of his red rim really make the model fit the guerilla style paint job I've been going for in my Tau army.

Tau: 500 Point Army List

The Royal Oaks Gaming Club will be hosting an escalation league this summer and I will be attending with my Tau. Though I'll probably miss most of the games, I'll still make my lists and participate whatever way I can. So, as this is the point total we will be beginning with, here is my 500 point list.

Kill Team Battle Report: Fire Warriors v. Storm Troopers

TAU
Splinter Team “Second Heart”
Splinter Leader: Shas’ui Gor’d’gon
Crisis Suit pilot equipped with a flamer, burst canon, missile pod, Stimulants, and a hard-wired multi-tracker. Gor’d’gon is a masterful athlete among tau warriors. Though it may be seen as pointless, his ability to maneuver through combat zones is invaluable – he has the ability detailed in the USR hit and run, without the assistance of vectored retro thrusters.

Tau: Shas'el Boba Fett

Boba Fett, one of the most badass
characters ever imagined
So, eventually I will be posting what my units look like, painted. However, until then, imagine Tau, with a Star Wars theme - more over, a Boba Fett Theme - and there you have my army.

Tau Stratagem: 1,000 Point List Update

Hey guys, simply an update on my 1,000 point list for my Tau army. This will be the one I use for the up-in-coming Tau Stratagem: Tactical Fluidity, Part II. I had a few ideas come up, and wanted to integrate such into the Cadre.

Tau Stratagem: Tactical Fluidity, Part 1

In this series, Tau Stratagem, I will be discussing tactics and give descriptive examples of games I have played - soon with links to the Battle Reports - concerning Tau. Each article will be ended by a brief analysis of the topic at hand.

The Aquiescent Salamanders: Construction, pt.1

To create a force, you need to find a key strength to build
upon as its foundation
Part 1: Vulkan He'Stan and Heavy Support
Hey y'all, BurnTide here. This is the first blog-series I'm doing. This and following articles in the series will be discussing my thought-process and ideas in constructing a 2000pt Space Marine: Salamander Army. I will be doing different units of the army, and discussing what led me to choosing them.
